Viaggia – “Discover Sicily” was the best travel experience my husband and I could have hoped for. Chef Alessandro and his wife Polina created an unforgettable journey through Sicily that exceeded all our expectations. With only six guests on the tour, we were treated not as tourists, but as close friends, or more like family. We formed wonderful friendships while being spoiled with delicious, authentic meals three times a day. Our itinerary was thoughtfully planned and filled with fascinating sightseeing experiences that helped us learn about Sicily’s rich history, culture, climate, and stunning architecture. And of course, the breathtaking scenery was unforgettable. We stayed in a beautiful villa where we could relax, unwind, and enjoy the pool every day. Chef Alessandro and Polina’s warmth and hospitality made the experience even more special. The cooking class they taught was both fun and engaging, and the dinner we prepared together that evening was one of the most delicious meals I have ever had. Alessandro and Polina made this trip an unforgettable experience for me in the best way possible. These two love what they do and it shows. They are both lovely down to earth people who will go out of their way to make sure you have the best time. It was my birthday when I was in Sicily and they make sure the celebration was fantastic. Beautiful breakfast, homemade cake, all the drinks they made me feel so special. Can’t say enough good things about this tour and the hosts. I highly recommend it.

I recently returned home after a month long journey in Italy. My trip concluded with a 10 day tour of Sicily with Viaggia Discover Sicily. This was more than just an ordinary tour as Chef Alessandro & Polina showed us the spirit of Sicily through food, wine, culture and the history of this beautiful Island. The tour was curated in such a way that we experienced all Sicily has to offer and gave us a truly authentic experience. From a day at a beautiful beach club, winery tours, cooking with Chef, Michelin Star dining, an operatic musical performance in Taormina, boat tours and swimming in the Tyrrhenian & Ionian Seas to visiting the most vibrant, lively, chaotic market in Palermo which offered amazing street foods and crazy characters. Alessandro & Polina are warm, caring passionate people who put their hearts and souls into making this a truly unique experience. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone who has a passion for travel, food history and a curiosity for life and other cultures.
